Athlete Mentoring

Meeting over coffee

Athletes need an outside perspective to help keep them focused and help them make key decisions.  The first meeting is free to discuss what you want and how I can help.

We can meet in person at a local cafe or via Skype call if you are outside Sydney, Australia.

We can discuss;

  • Strategic long term planning & short term goal setting.
  • Internal motivation
  • Performance analysis
  • Training plans
  • Video and race reviews
  • Strength conditioning
  • Aerobic development
  • Problem solving
  • Personal decisions/issues (family, friends)

For many parents of young athletes this can be a new and daunting time, often left in the dark unable to help, struggling to understanding the commitment needed from them and handle the expectation of there child as they deal with the high and lows. Decisions can also be tough, especially around education, sporting career and life after sport.

As a Double Olympian, GB Team member for over 20 years and casual coach for the Australian Canoe Slalom Team, I have a keen interest in the developmental process both mentally and physically of young athletes striving to make the national team and how to help athletes deal with the pressures of finishing a career!

I can help athletes across many sports make decisions using my knowledge of sports conditioning & mental performance techniques and experience to giving an outside perspective and guidance during moments when visions get clouded.
